Object: WSES Survey (estimated time 5 minutes) on the use of laparoscopy in non- traumatic emergencies
Dear Colleague,
The World Society of Emergency Surgery (WSES, is proud to launch this online survey, regarding the use of Laparoscopy or Robot in the management of non-traumatic abdominal emergencies, including common primary acute surgical conditions (e.g. appendicitis, cholecystitis, etc.) and the treatment of complications after Laparoscopic or Robotic elective abdominal surgery. WSES Survey Laparoscopy in Emergency
The goal is to achieve a worldwide picture in terms of real life use, limitations and contraindications of minimally invasive surgery in emergency (MISE). Obviously, no private personal details are required unless you would like to share them.
The results will also contribute to create further research on this topic.
