According to the current domestic legislation and the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (below called “GDPR 2016/679”) on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, we would like to inform you that your personal data will be processed in compliance with the above mentioned regulations and with obligation of confidentiality by which our association is bound.
The data controller
The data controller is W.S.E.S. – World Society of Emergency Surgery (n. VAT: 91365480374 – number of registration in the Legal Person Register at the Prefecture of Bologna: 729, p. 118, vol. 5) in the person of its temporary legal representative domiciled in 40139 – Bologna, via Cracovia n. 23.
The data processor
The role of the data processor ruled by the art. 28 GDPR 2016/679 is the general secretary to the board.
Type of data processed and purpose of data processing
The provision of name, surname, city, Country and e-mail is necessary to supply the required service, any refusal to provide us with the abovementioned data, shall make it impossible for W.S.E.S. to fulfil your request.
The data collected will be used for service purposes and to comply with legal obligations.
If required, the supply of data concerning your birthdate, nationality and telephone number is optional and it is aimed at improving the offered services and at performing newsletter, advertising and promotional activities carried out by W.S.E.S. In order to process your data for the purposes of improving the offered services, of newsletter and of advertising and promotional activities, W.S.E.S. requires your consent under the articles 6, paragraph 1, letter a) and 7 of the GDPR 2016/679.
If required, the processing may concern your images, acquired also through audiovisual recordings, that may be, by way of example, communicated, disseminated and assembled into new and different multimedia contents, also through the Internet, in order to document the Event/Workshop or the activities of W.S.E.S.
If required, with regard to the processing of your images, acquired also through audiovisual recordings, we ask you to provide a specific consent, also according to copyright law with special reference to art. 96 l. n. 633/1941. Technical reasons, such as the impossibility to identify and distinguish among all participants those who provided their consent to be filmed and photographed from those who did not, require us to ask your consent to the processing of audiovisual data, essential for your participation to the Event/Workshop.
Mode of processing and storage limitation
The data you supply are stored at W.S.E.S. for a period not exceeding the time necessary to the purposes for which they were originally collected and subsequently processed, with full respect to legal principles and fairness and the provision of law, especially as laid down in the article 5 GDPR 2016/679.
The processing of personal data is performed by W.S.E.S. using paper and IT technologies, ensuring a high level of security, in compliance with the current regulations.
According to the same legislation (article 29 GDPR 2016/679) your personal data are processed only by authorized subjects.
Area of communication and disclosure of personal data
For the pursuit of the above-mentioned purposes, your personal data may be communicated to other subjects in addition to those already highlighted above, i.e. employees and/or external collaborators as well as third-party service providers and external data processors.
Anyway data processors are appointed also all those subjects and categories of subjects indicated in the website of W.S.E.S. at the section: External Data Processors. In this respect it is to note that the subjects appointed as external data processors, who may become aware of your personal data, are those, who W.S.E.S. needs for:
- the management of relations with clients and, more in general, with third parties;
- the management of communications, also of commercial and promotional nature;
- the IT management of its archives.
W.S.E.S. may disclose your personal data without your explicit consent when processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or for compliance with a legal obligation.
Transfer of personal data
Any eventual transfer of your personal data to a Third Country out of the European Union will be done according to the provisions referred in the articles 44 et seq. GDPR 2016/679.
Data subject’s rights
In compliance with the articles from 15 to 22 of the GDPR 2016/679 you have always the right to:
- ask for confirmation of the existence or not of your personal data;
- obtain information about the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data, the recipients or categories of recipient to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed and, when it’s possible, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored;
- obtain the rectification and the deletion of your personal data;
- obtain a restriction of processing;
- obtain the portability of your personal data;
- object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you, even where personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based upon the consent provided before the withdrawal;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (garanteprivacy.it) .
