Wses Italian chapter has started its activity. Three new congresses have been promoted by WSESit in the last two months in Italy:
Advanced Trauma Operative Management – April, 27 (Pavia, Lombardia)
In collaboration with Pavia University, the course was divided in two sessions: the morning lesson was dedicated to Trauma Laparotomy, Spleen/Diaphragm, Liver, Pancreas/Duodenum, Genitourinary, Cardiac/Vascular. The afternoon session was developed in a lab simulation of injuries and operative repair.
Consensus meeting about topic haemostats in Trauma and Emergency Surgery – May, 15 (Milano, Lombardia)
In this appointment, Emergency Surgery survey results were presented: the discussion pointed out characteristics and bibliography of liquid adhesives, adhesives with mechanical support, topic haemostats with mechanical action.
Trauma Update. Damage Control Surgery e Resuscitation – May, 29 (Tigullio, Liguria)
The congress was developed in six specific sessions: Damage Control from the scene to the hosiptal; Damage Control Thorax Surgery; Damage Control Resuscitation; Damage Control Abdominal Surgery; Purposes in Intensive Theraphy; Pelvic Surgery Damage Control.
